Sometimes it is the simplest of items which provide a window (no pun intended) into strangers lives. I never got the chance to meet who lived in the house behind these windows and honestly I’m not even sure where it was taken except for somewhere between campus and the local fruit market. I have no information other than the photograph itself and yet I felt as though I could almost feel the story happening just out of view. Someone hung that cloth in that window. An entire life filled with celebrations, hardships, and everything in between, all hidden from view but still undoubtedly there.
