This is a photo I took while exploring the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Trastevere with some friends. I found many beautiful spots to photograph in Rome but some of my absolute favorite were the lesser known and less traditionally photographed areas. Being that we stumbled into this beautiful cemetery randomly and had to get back to campus soon I forced my friends to wait for a minute while I tried to capture the light hitting the cross just right. To me this picture encompasses my trip abroad, unplanned journeys and beautiful results.
