Ihsan Uyan – Ecole Polytechnique, Spring 2022
This is one of the amazing sceneries in Claude Monet’s garden at Givenchy. The famous Impressionist painter spent half of his life at his house including this garden. Besides he created a lot of his paintings in this site, the garden itself became the subject of the paintings most of the time including well-known “Water Lilies” and “Japanese Bridge”. Well preserved house and garden continue to inspire generations even after hundred years later.
