Artist’s Statement
The main reason I came to America was to pursue my passion in art, photography, and sport; to learn more about the different disciplines and develop my creative thinking. My work is primarily based on capturing moments that speak both to me and to others about the physical and mental demands that exist in an athlete’s life. I make pictures that call attention to the things that other people may overlook.

Keesha Rarere lives in Australia and has been involved in photography for ten years. Although she was trained in dark-room photography, she now enjoys digital photography as well.
